Dénia,
situated in the best area on the Costa Blanca, in the province
of Alicante, enjoys an incomparable background with over 20
kilometres of beaches, an average of 320 days’ sunshine
per year and an average temperature of 18†C.
It is an important and active port (harbouring a fishing area,
nautical club and sports marina) dividing the Denia coastline
into two separate parts, known as Les Marines and Les Rotes.
To the north, the coastline stretches out along 10 kms., with
huge beaches of the finest white sand which have, amongst other
things, made Denia famous. Year after year, these beaches receive
the European Union blue flag as a prize for their impeccable
conservation and the quality of the services they offer.
The port, as well as daily ferries to Ibiza, offers services
of light sailing, cruising and deep-sea diving classes, and also
boat rentals.
To the south, with the Montgó Natural Park as a backdrop,
the coast becomes steeper with many cliffs and rocky bays of
transparent water, continuing down to the Natural Marine Reserve
of Cabo de San Antonio, the perfect setting for those who love
underwater diving.
Sailing, golf, beautiful countryside, leisure, etc. A complete
offer making Denia the perfect holiday destination... or place
to live all year round.
